just my humble opinion.
what does “raising awareness” mean? it means caring, donating money, becoming informed, or keeping the people in your thoughts. it’s a little sad that some people have become so desensitized to death that they see no reason to even care about what is going on in libya. “it’s not america, so i don’t care”, “i can’t do anything, so why bother...

so this guy walks up to the gate and he is pushing a stroller with a kid in it. the kid is probably 2 or 3 years old and has glasses that look sort of like this:
so, naturally, i’m thinking: “alright, this kid is super cool. he has harry potter glasses. i should say something to him because he is so full of awesome and hp is awesome.”
the conversation goes something like...

the thing that i miss the most, now that i am in orlando, is nature. both at college and home (back in ga), there were places within 15 minutes of me where i could go to relax. here, everything is busy, busy, busy. the closest nature state park is 30 minutes away, but, because of the traffic, it would probably take nearly an hour. i need the mountains. i need pretty rivers and trees and stuff.
